Srini Pillay, M.D. is a humanist, an author and a pioneer in the field of “neurocoaching” – taking brain science out of the theoretical realm into the hands of business people who could use this information to improve the social and profit making variables at work.
Srini brings an unmatched level of credibility to the self-help genre. After graduating as the overall top medical student, he was trained in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, and McLean Hospital – the nation’s premier freestanding psychiatric hospital for the past 20 years. To distinguish his clinical career further, he was the Director of the Outpatient Anxiety Disorders Program at McLean Hospital following which he started and has maintained a private practice for the past ten years in Cambridge, MA.
Srini has seventeen years of experience in neuroscience research and his work has been funded by Harvard Medical School, NARSAD and the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA). His self-help book – Life Unlocked: 7 Revolutionary Lessons to Overcome Fear - has been nominated as one of five finalists in books for a better Life.
His latest book – Your Brain and Business: The Neuroscience of Great Leaders – will show you the secrets to optimizing your brain.
Srini’s mission is to ‘just contribute whatever value he can contribute from his own unique perspective’. He composes music for all genres, enjoys playing the piano and is an avid tennis player.
