Christina Lewis Halpern is a freelance writer and journalist based in New York City. She is working on a memoir about her father, Reginald Lewis. Until 2010 she was a staff writer for The Wall Street Journal, where she wrote about people who own big houses, then about families that own big buildings. She has written articles for The New York Times and Uptown Magazine. She got her professional start at The Stamford Advocate as a night cop reporter. She got my start as a writer there. She also spent six weeks reporting in Africa. She likes to travel and cook and take pictures.
