Lois Kelly started her career as a journalist in Boston, co-founded the digital marketing agency, Thunder House, and went on to an executive marketing and strategic communications career, advising some of the most admired CEOs in the world. She is a founding partner of the strategic communications firm Foghound. She published the award winning book Beyond Buzz: The Next Generation of Word of Mouth Marketing, the gold medal recipient of the 2008 Axiom Business Book Award for best marketing/advertising/public relations book and the 2008 finalist in the Berry-American Marketing Association Book Awards. Her book, written from the heart, Be the Noodle: 50 Ways to be a Compassionate, Courageous, Crazy-Good Caregiver is part memoir, part-how to instruction manual, part love story of the four-month journey of helping her mother die at home.
Describing herself as the “firestarter” and an “idea rainmaker”, Lois inspires organizations and executives uncover powerful possibilities , face their fears and innovate to a better leadership and effective marketing. Her articles have appeared in USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Brand Week, Advertising Age, and others. Her non-profit work includes the likes of being officer/trustee of Trinity Rep Theater.
