Tara-Nicholle Nelson is the CEO of Transformational Consumer Insights (TCI) - a strategy and customer research firm. TCI creates customer loyalty/engagement, brand positioning, and content strategies based on deep research and human insights.
Formerly, Tara was the Vice President of marketing for MyFitnessPal, now part of the Under Armor brand. There she led MyFitnessPal’s user growth efforts from 45 million to more than 100 million active users. Additionally, she had stints creating content and marketing strategies for brands including HGTV, ING Direct, Eventbrite, Trulia (new Zillow), Lookout Mobile Security, and Chegg.
She holds a Bachelor’s and Masters’ degrees in Psychology, and a JD from UC Berkeley. Her first book is The Transformational Consumer.
